My name is Ariel Rita Amarkarian, and I am an Armenian social justice advocate, MPH student, trained Full Spectrum Birth Worker and Placenta Encapsulator, and aspiring Sex Educator. My work is deeply rooted in principles of reproductive justice, health equity, inclusion, trauma-informed care, liberation and LOVE. I am especially passionate about eradicating taboos surrounding sexual health and female pleasure, particularly within the Armenian community. Creating safe spaces where conversations about sexual wellness are celebrated and destigmatized is at the heart of my work.

In that same spirit, I wholeheartedly believe that every persons fertility journey is sacred and should be held in reverence! I strive to provide compassionate and empathetic emotional, physical, and informational support to all birthing people throughout every stage of their journey. I respect and fully support all the choices you make for your body and your baby! Access to safe, respectful abortion services is a vital part of healthcare, and equitable healthcare should be a HUMAN RIGHT NOT A PRIVILEGE!!

In addition to supporting childbirth, and postpartum, I also recognize that the veil between life and death is exceptionally thin during this time. I am committed to holding you and your family through both the ceremony of birth as well as the grief of loss.
